Crazy colored road bike ideas
Jon (Pheard) wants to make his road bike a clown bike (rainbow) without painting it. He says his bike looks too much like mine, which is "BORING!!" (<-----see avatar) Any ideas? If any of you have pic of any bright components on your bike will you please post them? Heh. Just trying to help the guy out.
Here is his bike now:

BUT WAIT!!
Here is what he wants so far:

Oh ew, no. He's just a little bit silly and I really agree with him on this. (I don't want his bike looking like mine! OH PLEASE don't look like mine!)

Throw the stick!!!!
In my opinion he is going to ruin a nice bike. However, if he wants to make a nice bike look like complete crap then by all means go ahead. I don't understand it. I guess it's a good thing I don't have to understand it though.
Personally, if I spend that kind of money I like to have something I can be proud of.

EDIT: n/m - just looked at the page, and the only color available is black, even though the picture's green.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

I am/will be proud of it, just because it doesn't fit into your ideal of what is nice and what is crap doesn't mean I won't be proud of it. I'm not trying to ruin anything. I'm doing what I think will look nicer then everything matching on the bike. I don't like things matching, that's just how I am.

Do some tribal art with like 8 different colors, then go to a vinyl shop and have them cut you some sheets of this design. Then wrap the bike's frame in the vinyl. When you get tired of it, remove it, and you've got your old bike ready to go.

- Get a bunch of different colors of brake / shifter cables, and do each cable run in a different color. It'd be a bit of work, but it'd certainly be unique.
- Colored valve stems / valve stem covers.
- Colored saddle.
- 2 different color tires.

Love the color of the new Bianchi Celeste aluminum frames. How could one enhance it anymore than it is.

Rewrap the bars and candy-stripe two different colors on each one. To go really crazy, each tape can be multiple colors. Something like red wrapped with the multicolored splotch/splash tape.
