Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My parents still live on Chapel road. Visited just a few months ago, but I haven't riden out there in 10 years or so

But I see you wimped out on the big hill on Williamsburg.

Did that so we could pick up the hill on Powhatan.

Starts at the intersection of FCP (7100) and Stringfellow Rd. (645) This intersection is just north of Rt. 50.

W on 645 (Stringfellow Rd.)

X 50 (Lee Jackson Hgwy)

X 29 (Lee Hgwy)

R 620 (Braddock/New Braddock Rd.) (This section of Braddock is 4 lanes and is ok)

X 28 (Centreville Rd.)

L Old Centreville Rd.

R Old Mill Rd.

L Mt. Olive Rd.

R Compton Rd.

R 621 (Bull Run PO Rd.)

R 29 (Lee Hgwy)

L Pleasant Valley Rd.

Rt. 620 (Braddock Rd.)

L Sully Station Dr.

L Westfields Blvd.

R Walney Rd.

L Poplar Tree Rd.

L Stringfellow Rd.

X 50 (Lee Jackson Hgwy)

Finish at 7100 (FCP)

* It would be nice to just continue straight on R 621 (Bull Run PO Rd.) across 29, but it is not paved. The short jog on 29 is not bad.
