Woe is me!
 

Here it is the first nice day in Seattle in a week, the Tuesday night ride goes off in about an hour, the tour is on a rest day, and I'm laid up on the couch with stitches in my foot. Talk about the perfect cycling storm. If I weren't still bleeding a bit I'd probably give it a go tonight. I'm sure the wife would be thrilled with me for making the effort. The only good news is that I've got new tape and brake pads to install...woohoo! :rolleyes:

....and the stitches are because?

I had foot surgery over the winter and apparently some dissolving stitches were anything but. Last month I developed a large abcess on my ankle at one of the surgery sites and once that cleared and healed the decision was made to open up the site and clean it of any other stuff that may be in there.
