I was hoping to see the cassette. I thought I saw the guys show it on Versus and it was one piece.

I'm in to it. It's probably $50 cheaper than record.

I'm liking it. They should have all the kinks worked out really well by the time im ready to build up a new bike.

One piece of machined steel. The $ comes from the fabrication, not the material.

Is it just me, or are there about 4 teeth missing from the smallest cog on that cassette?

I thought they were only supposed to be one short on each cog.

Wouldn't it have been cool to have it red anodised? Doesn't work with steel, of course, but all the alu and ti bits... :)

8 Gears = the first and last are separate pieces.

Red = stinkypants.

Red fades and turns pink.

There are SRAM and Campy sections in hell for bike weenies.

What's the mechanical advantage of a one-piece cassette? That's a project to make a machinist go home and emo cut himself, hope there's a good reason for it.
