Hi what is the lighest bicycle that i can buy without getting a custome frame and building it up. Thank you for the help.

Depends on your size and how much you can afford to spend. Maybe 15 lbs if you're average height and build and want to spend a moderate amount. For many $ thousands more, you can easily approach 14 lbs. For many $ thousands less, 16 lbs with pedals is reasonable.

Actually, it would be a Scott Addict Limited converted to single speed with a White Inudstries ENO Eccentric hub. You should be able to get it down 11 lbs, and you can auction off the shifty bits and save some money.

Here's some wild generalizations:

Complete bikes:

$500-1000- 21-22 lbs.
$1000-2000- 18-19 lbs.
$2000-3500- 16-17 lbs.
