TdF Trainer Warm Up
Did anyone else catch the footage of Disco and Lotto warming up on their trainers before the TT with ear plugs in their noses? I swear I saw Cadel and Levi doing this before the last TT. Any thoughts on what this is supposed to achieve?

I think the commentators said they were breathing in menthol, presumably to open up their nasal passages to breathe better.

To open up their nasal passages. There is "something" on the plugs, I just can't recall what it is.
