Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Photos Of You in Action!

Evening folks,

After many months of waiting I've finally gotten my hands on some photo's of way back when I started racing (last October ). Anyway to cut a long story short let's post some photo's of you guys in action. Kicking arse, or getting it handed to you, I want to see it!

Here's my favourite photo at the moment. It's about a millisecond before I won my first C Grade race, my first race on my Mavic Aksiums, and my first 60km/h sprint! Go, go gadget placebo effect!

(I'm the bloke in the middle)

I know about that thread.

This time round it'd be awesome to see people kicking arse instead of just taking it.

. . . I'm not sure that the mods or the BF members in general would appreaciate any photos of me "in action". . . I'll just keep those to myself, thank you very much

I think that would be somebody who starts a thread just so he can post pics of himself racing. Fortunately I didn't start the thread so I can safely post mine.

Sorry, I should probably shrink it and re-upload it but it's late and I'm tired.

EDIT: OK, not so big now.

Seven corner course at Ontario last year. I made it a lap and a half before they reeled me back in.

I don't race - I ride centuries. Does that count?

Ok... not much action, but I made it to the top of Loveland Pass while sick with the flu. No, not much fun at all. I rode 82 miles, with over 10,000 feet of elevation gain on 1 banana, half an orange, and three watermelon slices.
