Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That thing is begging for yellow tape, saddle, cables, cages and gumwalls.

I mean, if you're gonna go 80's, go FULL EIGHTIES.

What do you mean by, "...hard to shift..."? You can't reach the levers from the drops? The lever is difficult to push because it requires a lot of effort? What exactly? I upgraded my '14 from Sora to 105 (5800) and one thing that I did notice is that with two more gears, it takes less effort to switch gears in either direction. But I didn't find it particularly difficult to shift from the drops with the Sora.

IIRC, the minimum that you need to change in order to switch "up" to Tiagra or higher are the right shifter, cassette and chain. You can try to source the individual parts from eBay, just make sure that you get the same series components.

Yes it is, what I can tell u bout it is this:
1. It's lightweight, something like 225gm.
2. Vry comfortable, provides good support as well as the option to switch position.
3. Super quality, after all it's hand-made in italy

all in all I'm very pleased with it.

BTW this Project is available for purchase, it's brand new, with warranty and all original labling, it's build from the gound up based on the 2016 Allez Frameset but with spec not offered by the company and performance supperior to the already good one.
If anyone's interested more info and pics will be provided at 'Animus.DnD@gmail.com'

1993 Allez. Detailed everything, and added a Body geometry saddle (and I need to add new tape).

I just finished restoring this 93 Allez Comp. Such a fun ride. Shame it’s a little small for me.

I'm about to start building up an Allez Sprint. Never put a bike together before, so wish me luck.

That should look great with a white saddle and bar tape. Looking forward to a clean build!
Here’s mine. I admit the paint job is nothing special but I got it on sale
