My late season birthday gift - 2010 Specialized Allez Elite. Shimano M520's, some crappy sigma cyclometer, topeak road morph and knog boomer taillight. Really like this bike. Love the white and black!

My 2011 Allez comp the day I brought it home. Have done some minor upgrades to it with more planned.
These were taken before I took the spoke reflectors off, so, cut me some slack! haha.

Yeah - I never took the spoke reflectors off after I brought the bike home (1 month ago). I'll take as much reflection this time of year riding on the streets as I can. I would love a bell and maybe some handlebar streamers... and you will know I'm coming from the baseball card in the spokes.

Of course... I dig my bike, but looking at all these bike since I joined makes me wish I had ponied up the cash for a 2010 Roubaix Elite when I had the chance. I am new to cycling (only 1 year), so I thought it was too much bike for me (newbie with full carbon just felt wrong).

As always, the bike as pictured is going through an identity crisis. In the picture it has rack & panniers, fenders and aerobars + my racing wheels. I commute on it as well as do triathlons and group rides.
I lost the rack and fenders for most of the summer but now the commuter wheels are back on.
I've had three different sets of shifters on it, -the most recent being an old Campy Mirage set.
I don't really like the black crankset but hated the triple it came with even more.

Here's my '06 (?) baby.I bought it used from a friend a few years ago, and I have logged many tours, and lots'o'centuries on it. This year I broke my FD (was tiagra), and had enough of the triple set-up (I really only do lite touring), so I did a full campy switch, all Athena. LOVE IT! I also swapped out the stock wheelset for Fulcrum Race 7s, something everyone should do. Prior to the upgrade, I considered going for a new, all-carbon bike, but found few that had the versatility. I do still put a rack on the back, and few bikes come with the holes to attach an easy rack. Plus, I can still hang with the club riders... I love this bike! Sorry about the wallpaper...

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

So how do you like the Fuzion wheels? What is your weight in the riding on those F1 series? How many miles have you put on them? I just picked up a pair of M1's for my Allez Sport that had the Alex stock still and rear wheel was breaking spokes.

I will most likely pick up a set of the M1's for my touring bike or as a pair of rougher ride wheels. You will love these wheels compare to your stock ones. I kept having problems with my stocks ones going out of true. These wheels are still as straight as the day I got em.
A couple hundred miles I have put on them. I don't know exactly how many.

The more standard accepted 'Garage Door' pic. I don't have a garage so it took a while.

Just finished my fun build (moved components over from my broken bike):
2009 Allez frame
3T Funda Fork
DA 7800 + Red Compact Crank
Easton EA90 Aero
Sorry for the busy background, it was 2am and I was too tired to move stuff (maybe I'll take some better pictures next time).

This is a 2010 Allez frame with the following changes:
Group: Dura Ace
Saddle: Saddleco Flow
Wheels: Fulcrum Racing 4
I've also swapped out the bottle cages since this photo to silver with red accents and specialized in white. Super sweet. This build only ways about .75 more pounds than my carbon.

Yeah, Specialized had a great scheme with the very basic matte silver and Black. Best of all, very unnoticeable decals compared to most of their moving billboard schemes. I Will a new picture today with the SuperiorLite wheelset (red bits).
