this wheel set came on my mid 90's nishiki and i haven't been able to find any info anywhere about it after searching for about 6 months. any info would be greatly appreciated. i'm pretty sure it's fiberglass or some other composite rather than carbon but i'm not sure.

Nope. Hed bought or licenced the design from Specialized. Doesnt look like that. I cant help you...no idea.

A friend of mine has a similar set of wheels on his mountain bike. His are made by the company "Spin", I believe.
