Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

time pro equipe shoes?

Any one experience these shoes? I found some for 90 bucks, in my size. They look pretty garish, really bright yellow, but the reviews of it on roadbikereview are good.

Discuss.

Time shoes used to only fit Time cleats. This is the same pattern as Speedplays.

Time shoes are a classic - I've had my pair for about 15 years, but it was time to move on (feet grew a bit). If it wasn't for the high price and garish colours I would have bought another pair of Time shoes. I eventually decided on a new pair of DMT shoes to replace the Time ones.

Well, rev. chuck i'm not sure if that's true now. I think these shoes will fit any pedal system (i think). Somebody correct me if i'm wrong. They better fit look style pedals, cause that's what i have

If the Time shoe that you are getting has the TBT Integral sole, then it can use any pedal system. You'll need the Look inserts to use your pedals.

I have a pair of Time 'Racing' shoes from 1990, white with red straps and the carbon reinforced nylon TBT sole. Still going strong and use them for training now.
Replaced them with Carnac Quartz.
My Times will take Look cleats without any adaptor or the Time cleat setup.
More recent models of the TBT sole have removable inserts for various pedal systems.
