non carbon tubular?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Mavic Reflex, Ambrosio F20 rims...

Some of the alumium rimmed fulcrum and campy wheels come in tubular as well.

I have a couple sets of Mavic Heliums that I use for cyclocross. They are aluminum tubulars. You can usually find them on ebay for a couple hundred dollars a set. They are very sturdy and have been excellent wheels so far. I would also assume that the newer Mavic Kysriums SL and ES aluminum tubulars are rock solid also. I will be buying the ES version in the spring through a team deal becase I have heard such great things about them.
