Spinergy Xaero Lites...

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Spinergy Xaero Lites...

Okay, so I'm mostly a lurker 'round these parts, but I do have a question...

I'm looking at getting some new wheels and this week the Spinergy Xaeros have caught my eye. After searching and digging through the old threads here, it looks like several people have them/have used them in builds, but there aren't a whole lot of post-build ride reports, so thats what I'm lookin for, some good real-world data. That would be great....

Thank you and I did, but there are only a few recent ones - and I know people 'round these parts have used them for pretty decent amounts of time.

They're great descenders—they hug the road well and are pretty sure-footed.

I have used the Xaero Lites for two years. They work great, no problems at all *knocks on wood*.

Sorry if you are looking for a flowery review like Bike magazine.

not really looking for long ride reports or anything, just something more in addition to the few "i'm using these wheels" posts here and the few reviews on RBR...

I had those and I loved them. Other than being a little heavy they were perfect. They rode better than my Zipps as far as comfort goes and they looked awesome. I had them for close to a year and I never had to true them once.

Another plus is you can change them from Shimano to Campy in under 30 seconds. Very handy if you have bikes with various drivetrains.

Jschen did a really nice review on them after her bought them from me. I believe it was in the SoCal forum.
