Handlebars Creaking
Just in the last week, I've noticed that my handlebars creak when I stand up and pull hard with my hands on the hoods. Is this a sign that something has failed structurally, or could it be that something has loosened up? Probably not a yes or no question, but I'm sure someone out there has had this experience.

Tighten the steerer clamp and the bar clamp on the stem. Can't think of anything else. Don't overtighten though... You sure it's not the wheels or the headset?

I had this problem for a while when I first bought my bike, I had to get a new bar (warranty), to fix it. Drove me nuts!

The bike's about to explode, you better sell it on eBay.
In all seriousness, check to see if you need to put a little grease on the metal on metal contact points.

That's to risky to sell. Give it to me I will be responsible for any mishaps.
Check the torque. Don't overtightened. If it is an aluminum stem and aluminum bar squirt a little lubricant under the clamp. Try without pulling the camp first. You may have to pull it, clean it, lube it and reassemble. I think seat and moisture get in the interface.
