Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Knee Pain

I just started riding a road bike with clipless pedals.

I've riding 25 - 50 miles per day for the last couple of weeks.

Recently I've stared experiencing pain in my left knee.

It doesn't hurt when I walk or ride, but it hurts when I make cerain movements like crossing my leg or lifting my leg.

I really can't isolate the source of the pain, but it seems to ne on the outside of the knee.

Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Hey, not trying to be rude, but there are already a huge number of threads on the topic that might help you now rather than waiting for advice.

I know because mine started hurting as well.

There is a book out by Andy Pruitt called the Medical Guide For Cyclists. You basically look up your symptom and he writes about the possible causes and solutions. That may help. Good luck.
