Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

just watched the nature valley grand prix.... got me pumped up! coverage was crap about 2 minutes per stage per male/female. but hey still was good motivation with the tour being almost a month ago.

Yeah it was amazing at the difference between the coverage/footage of this race compared to the Euro races. Still it was better than nothing!

I agree, we are lucky to have a network like Versus. I sometimes go to their website for schedules. Let's hope they continue to support cycling.

Since it was raining here, I stayed in and watched it. Nothing like cramming in two different stage races into 1 hour, but it beats nothing I reckon.

It is coming on again on Tuesday at 5 EST. I saw that it was coming on on Velonews.com. I know some cable/satelite systems you can program by keywords for shows...

DVR. Set to record "all episodes" first run during the TDF, and came home tonight to find a gift on the hard drive.
