Mavic R-Sys
I have been demoing them for the last 4 days and they are unreal! Stiff, light, look cool, etc, etc. I am trying all sorts of ways to cinvince myself not to buy them! I ride Ksyrium Elites now and there is a night and day difference. Not the most technical guy int he world, but if anyone has questions, I would be glad to try to answer. I am a 200 pound guy, so I think the stiffness is something I probably need and did not realize it until riding these. Acceleration and climbing was noticeably better, even to me!

Im in the same boat. I have the Elites as well, and I am looking for a new wheelset. I considered the mavic, as it had some potential to not only further help my race results but to also take the next step custom wheel coloring. I thought of peeling off the stickers, painting the green nipples metallic red, as well as the aluminum spokes out back. Ultimately making it an alternating spoke color between carbon black and metallic red. While I think it would look absolutely sick, I wanted something even more than that. Lighter, and more aero would have to be found elsewhere, and I will most likely end up choosing a tubular easton ec90 aero that is to be released soon.

Yes...
No one could pick a set of wheels out of a grouping of several sets, but if it was head to head between two different sets of wheels, most experienced riders/racers could tell one from the other.
