Newbie needs advice
I am currently looking to buy a used roadbike for under 200 dollars (SLIGHTLY flexible). I've been scouring craigslist for the past week, but I really have no idea what to look for other than frame size (19" to 22" because I have a 30" inseam). My real concern is the ability of the bike to handle a heavier rider.
I am 6'0" 240 lbs and in very good shape, so I will be exerting a lot of force on the pedals. I've had problems in the past with the chain slipping because I pedal so hard and want to make sure that it won't be an issue since I live amongst many hills. Should this even be a consideration? I'd love to hear some general advice on what to look for in a road bike before I take the plunge. Thanks in advance for any advice!

OP - Just about any mid- to upper-quality bike in good condition can withstand what you can dish out. Unfortunately, you aren't going to have a lot of mid- to upper-quality bikes in good condition for sale for $200.
