Perf Ultra Bib vs Hammer Bib

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Perf Ultra Bib vs Hammer Bib

I followed a recent thread with interest that contained some of this. I've got an Perf. Ultra bib and considering buying another one. Missed the $48 sale a few weeks ago so they are back up a ways. I know they will go on sale again soon anyhow.

In any event, I've been thinking about getting the Hammer bib as it got some good reviews and a great price point. I've got 4 pairs of Ultra shorts so I'm very familiar with the line. My only Voler short has the Cantara pad, which I find a bit thick.

So opinions appreciated. Wish I could afford the really expensive stuff but........
