ISM Adamo Racing Tri Saddle?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

ISM Adamo Racing Tri Saddle?

I know saddle is a very personal thing, but after 200+ miles on my fizik arione, i'm still left with numb nuts.

I've even had it adjusted and fitted, but I guess my boney arse just can't take it. It's gotten bad where I stopped riding for a month now and been having some irration pain in the nuts (feels like i just got kicked in the nuts type of feel). I thought I had testicular cancer or something.

so, I went to the family doc yesterday and the boys all checked out fine, but was told I just need to lay off the bike till the numbness disappears.

so, which brings me to the question about this saddle. doctor recommend saddles with a cutout to help with the blood flow. so i've searched and found the ISM Adamo Racing Tri Saddle. i figured since ppl doing Tri are often on their bike for a long time, perhaps, this kind of seat will be good for me and my boys. but, i haven't found much info or reviews on this saddle.

so, i'm hoping perhaps someone on here has tried it before and perhaps could shed some reviews.

thanks!

I tried an Arione for a 1 mile test ride and cut it short to try another saddle. The Aliante was somewhat better, but not good enough. Tried a couple of WTB saddles also with unhappy results. I tried an Aspide SE and had no numbness after 50+ miles, but it was too hard on my sit bones. I currently have a Terry Fly on the bike, but have had to tilt the nose down too much to avoid numbness, which means I'm now putting too much weight on my arms. I have a Aspide Gelaround coming in the mail this week - maybe that'll be the ticket.

It's really hard finding the right saddle. You want to give it and your butt some time to adjust/conform, but sometimes you just feel that something uncomfortable after 15 miles won't be more comfortable with time.

I'd be interested to know what you think of the Adamo. I expect you'll hear from the Brooks people, too.

yup, i thought about getting a brooks before, but then i realized "I really have a boney arse"; typical asian butt i guess. i might get the adamo.. found a 2006 review online, which sound positive. gonna search some more and see. at least i found a local shop in palo alto that has it, so hopefully they be willing to let me test it out before purchase.

*EDIT*
here are some more reviews if anyone is interested:

https://www.beginnertriathlete.com/cm...?articleid=976
https://www.bikesportmichigan.com/reviews/saddle06.shtml

so far, the reviews seems very positive, so i might just go ahead and give it a try.

thanks. but i kinda want to hear more from a male's perspective. The lady at my LBS uses it as well, the women version, and she loves it on her Roo. i don't plan on doing any tris anytime yet, but would love a comfy seat for my arse and boys.
