Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Added another bike to the stable ...

Trying to be as diversified as I can ... here is what I "had" until recently...

* Two road bikes
* Mountain bike
* Tandem

Edited to Add: I ride this in place of my road bike(s) ... on club and solo rides. So, to me it is a "Road Bike" ... just with ONE speed!

All that is left, for the most part, is a Single Speed / Fixie and one day a recumbent ... so I decided to add the SS/Fixie to my stable ... a few photos below. But, you can see much more detail by reading my detailed post over in the SS/Fixie sub-forum here: https://www.bikeforums.net/singlespeed-fixed-gear/343499-meet-my-new-ss-custom-build-soma-delancey.html

Thanks for looking!

The Brooks is not chopped. That is the more expensive Swift.

Why do you keep your bicycles in a stable?

Thanks ... I'm having a lot of fun on this bike! The simplicity of a single speed is actually pretty fascinating ... no thoughts of switching gears, etc.

real boss bike....

when you feel the urge to get a recumbent, let the moment pass...
