How to select a saddle
I have been riding my stock saddle since I got my bike in May. It's rather uncomfortable and it's time to make a change.
How do I go about selecting a new saddle? I am a guy, do mostly fitness/group rides up to 35-40 miles. I'll probably try to work up to doing longer rides and maybe the occasional century, but for selection purposes, my typical ride is between 35-40 miles. I can't afford to shell out a lot, so I'm looking in the $50-$75 range. I'm not a racer, so I don't need anything super light, just comfortable.
I'm definitely willing to test ride a few different models, but how do I narrow it down?

trial and error is probably the only way. Try a new saddle. Take note of what you liked about it, and what you didn't like about it.
