Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

!new! Woodside High School Cycling Club

Some fellow students and I have started a cycling club at our high school. It basically supports the bicycle culture of the school, while giving a club feel to the community. I had some questions if anyone knows any answers. What are the steps to gain sponsors as a club. What are some of the best custom team jersey makers. Does anyone have any good experiences with custom jerseys or sponsorships? Or any ideas for club guidance?
thanks
-Mac

to make the jersey's check out https://www.champ-sys.com .....we used them to make the Bike Forum 'Texas' jerseys and they came out great!!....as far as sponsors go, I'd start with any local bike shops, maybe car dealers, local insurance companies, etc....heck, ask anyone you think might kick out a little $$$$....make sure you present it to them in way that they feel like they are helping out a good cause and will also get the recognition they deserve....good luck, and maybe some others here will have some ideas.
