Minoura Swing Grip 2

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have a Minoura space grip which I think mounts in a similar fashion. Its a real pain getting it on, getting it off is easy (I took it off and haven't put it back on)

Not sure what alternative to suggest unfortunately.... if you find one let me know.

Pliers

The few times that I had to remount the Space Grip I used a pliers, with one hand, to hold the band together. With my other hand, and a hex key, I tightened the hex screw. This helped alot, but this mounting bracket sure is a pain!

I have the Swing Grip and it's a PITA to put on. Well, not a full PITA, but it took a little while for me to understand how it worked at first. I can probably put it on and off in 5-10 minutes now if i wanted to. I leave it on since it holds my computer and reflector so i have room for my aerobars.
