2005 Litespeed Ultimate Build
I just bought a used 2005 Litespeed Ultimate frame off eBay and built it up with components from my "rain bike". I have been wanting to get a Ti road bike for a while and got a great deal on this frame. The frame is similar to my existing Litespeed Saber Tri/TT bike with a Ti frame and carbon forks and rear stays.
I like the ride of a titanium bike and the durability of the frame. Note the cutout in the seat tube to achieve a shorter wheelbase.
The bike:
The only immediate change I will make to the existing components is swapping the Real Design seatpost which has a large setback to a zero setback Thomson Elite
Here are some pics:
I plan to ride it tomorrow!

Frame came on Friday and got it built on Sunday. Besides a quick stroll around the block, I haven't ridden it hard yet. Plan to take it on a group ride tomorrow night and will able to get a good feel for it then. I know I like the feel of Ti and it appears to handle well. I'll report back tomorrow night!
