Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm a big fan of the Toyota-United paint scheme on the Team Issue and Roubaix LTD. Very classy... I almost, but don't really, wish I had waited another year to get my LTD. They also upspec'd it from "crappy carbon-wrapped Al seatpost" to carbon SL-K seatpost. Ah well.

I am most likely picking up the '08 SL1, but if an '07 can be had for a nice price...

Either way, there is a set of Fulcrum Zero's waiting for a new home.

Gotta treat myself good for achieving another goal.

Oh yeah, I got an 07 Track Pro for a killer price on closeout. They haven't changed in a while, saw some specs, looks like the only thing changed for 08 is the color scheme and seat and it's .64 lbs heavier?!?!?

A couple of guys on my team have them; they really seem to like them a lot. I'm a big fan of my Roubaix LTD, which is essentially an Al Team Pro; the rest of the build is almost identical except it's DA instead of Ultegra.

I've seen several of the SL-1c versions and a handful of the SL-1s' out there. Are you looking for a frame only or complete 07 bike?

A guy on my team just got a SL-1 in United graphics. We ordered a regular SL-1. Fuji rep called and said they no longer have the "07"s so they sent us one of the "07" United team frames instead.

i had one for about 4 months...and then upgraded to the Team RC....The Carbon on the pro is nice but the RC is allot stiffer and a less vague of a ride on descents...

Both great bikes...it's just as i am getting stronger i wanted a stiffer frame.

Seriously. Over 23 pounds? What on earth did they do to it?

Maybe it'll be cheaper though.

Actually, I am leaning toward the '08 after doin a little research. Not diggin SRAM and don't really like the $$$ of Campy; those were my gripes for the '07 models. Those options were done away with for '08, now you can have any groupset you want this coming year, as long as it's Dura-Ace.

No build around a frameset this time. Just hand over the box and it's all good. Most components I would use are already included in production form. As for the Mavic's they're as good as gone (based on experience with Mavic not hear-say) and Fulcrum Zero's are going on there.
