Performance or Nashbar Rollers

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Performance or Nashbar Rollers

Has anyone used Performance or Nashbar rollers? I'd like to give rollers a try without breaking the bank, but don't want to be wasting money on something that doesn't work.

Thanks!!

Do a search, it's been discussed here before, I think they both came out as good value.

Performance rollers fold, if that's important to you.

I'm returning mine, it doesn't make sense to use them in a college dorm room.
I just bought a fluid^2 instead

I've been using Nashbar rollers for a few weeks now. So far no problems or issues. Nice workout.

I purchased the Performance Rollers ($119.00 plus shipping) last Fall and used it 4 or 5 days a week through the Winter without any issues at all. Good buy in my opinion.

I'm using the Nashbar rollers. But I have a dedicated workout room, since the rollers are too loud to put in front of the TV and have the wife trying to watch while I'm cycling.
Other than that, the Nashbar rollers work as advertised. I got them for 90$ after 10% off.

Thanks, but I think I'll pick up a pair at my local performance so I can exchange for a trainer if it's not my thing. They're on sale for $109 and they offer an extra 10% off on Tuesday afternoons.
