bumping a 3 year old thread?

It is a meaningful today as it was 3 years ago and I was trying to improve the quality of the current threads which seem to be lacking or focus on a single individual.

WHOOOSSHHH... 02-14-11 09:51 AM

Oh by all means, worth every ounce saved...despite the cost!

Let me guess - you're a liberal

Edit: I meant that as a joke

Well we are not supposed to talk about politics but you are right that I am not a member of the tea bag party.

This item might reduce weight but seems to cost a lot

But to which single individual are you referring? I can think up one or two names.

A friend was looking for a new bike and found a large weight difference between the Scott CR1 Elite vs CR1 Comp because it came with Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels and also Rival.

The weight savings seemed to justify the additional cost.

ok, I'll play. Being a weenie now isn't as expensive as it was when this thread was started. You have things like Planet X CNC brakes for $150 which brake better and are the same weight as Zero G's from a couple years ago at around $400. I got my KCNC skewers, all 46 grams of them, for $50 or so. I got my sub 100 gram carbon saddle for friggin $35 - and its actually comfortable. It's become a lot more affordable to be a weenie. ;)
