NiteRider Classic ordered, good light?

I picked this up for $132.00 at Performance and also used my member points to bring it down another $15

I usually start out in daylight and ride about an hour into darkness, before the time change next week. I am hoping this is a Big light with lots of power when needed and adequate light in a pinch. I also have a Princeton Tec Eos on the handlebar as a backup. Thanks for any reviews, comments.

You get a BF gold star. Bought something then ask how good it is!

Good light, bulletproof. Short run time on high. Follow the battery storage recommendations exactly to get a long overall battery life. My friend is using my old one that is probably over ten years old with a replacement battery. Same bulbs even.

You should've asked this question before purchasing. Anyways you could've spec'ed your own halogen system for much less. Poor runtime, heavy but it's got the wattage though.

How do you go about spec'ing your own halogen system?

I'm not so sure on that. I bet that halogen will blow that led unit out of the water.

You'll love it. I use mine for MTB nite rides.

Its good to go. Don't give it a second thought.
