Conti Sprinter Gatorskins

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

For those of you that have used them, especially if you've also used regular Sprinters, what's your opinion? Is the added puncture resistance worth the compromise in ride quality? Is the ride quality noticeably different?

I like them better than the regular Sprinters. They feel more or less the same, maybe even a little rounder.
Try them, Excel has them for 39 or so.

I wonder how the mfg'ing has changed over the years. I used to get those for $50'something even with my club discount 12-14 yrs ago.
