Pure Beauty, Raw Speed

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Call me a Shill. She's Gorgeous! Just had to be the first to let everyone see And no... I do not own one.

As anticipated, the Dual is gone. The P2SL is down in price a good bit as well... might be old news for some, but for the others check it out. Not bad at all.

With the thread title, I expected an photo of Rebecca Twigg, or maybe Cancellara or Bettini or something. Not a tool someone would use to ride fast...

It's like crediting a saw for a well-made piece of furniture.

Oh well, it is sharp!

I personally think it looks ridiculous. Yeah, it might be expensive and light, but it looks like a freak bike. Something the bearded woman would ride if she went pro.

I'm curious as to why Craig Alexander didn't race with the new 2008 model at the Ironman Kona where he came in 2nd. The Euskaltel team seems to have done very well (compared to past years) with the new TT bike at the TdF and some other TT races.

I'm rather surprised this bike is getting so much negative feedback from my roadie brethren. I thought this was the preferred style amongst the young guns here: carbon, gawdily decaled, miniature, aero-bars, stupid seat post, Zipps, etc.

No, it clearly is not my style, but I thought it was popular here. Gee, you dudes are becoming unpredictable.

No, no, no! The idea is to make innocent bystanders (who couldn't care less) think you are getting a kickback, AKA being a sponsored, ergo, fast rider.

Pros don't ride plain looking bikes, right? Nascar, et. al. don't race cars with no decals! It's fuh teh raze....

Bike designs from Cervelo are now copied by others, especially the P3. Other than the decals, I like it and appreciate the form, function, and design. It is far from looking ridiculous and being a freak bike.
