Need some info on Easton EA 50 wheelset.

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Need some info on Easton EA 50 wheelset.

I had ordered a set of Vista SL's from BeyondBikes.com, 3weeks later they send e-mail saying no more are available, they have been replaced by the EA 50SL wheels., which are not yet available(2-3wks). For now i have pre-orderes these wheels, cost is $250 U.S.--Good deal?
I cannot find any info on these wheels including Eastons website. I quess they are new for 2008. What I am looking for is the weight of these wheels, (Campy) and If anyone by chance has any info on these wheels, please share.

Thanks.

They are just the renamed version of the Vista SL. (?)
Hope that helps.

^ If that's the case, I hope $250 was the price of the Vistas originally ordered.

The Vista SL's were discounted to $199, original price before closeout was $299--- BeyondBikes and a another on-line source has the the EA50sl's at $349.00. I was given a "discount" making my order price at $250 for the EA50sl's. I hope something on the wheelset has inproved over the Vista SL's to justify the price increase for 2008.
