Colnago CLX arrives (dial up warning)

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Colnago CLX arrives (dial up warning)

I have been looking for a new bike for some time.
I recently posted in this thread:
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...&highlight=CLX

Here are some quick pics of the bike as it arrived from Competitive Cyclist.

They did a great job packing it.

Assembled right out of the box:

Got late but I added my wheels and some pedals.
Official OCP photo's to follow:

you can hardly tell who manufactured that bike. if you can remove some of those decals, it's be a pretty nice bike!

Those boxes are tougher than they look in the photo up there. I've had two frames shipped from competitive cyclist and they were solid.

Just one thing, shouldn't Colnago put another 'Colnago' sticker on each of the seatstays? Then you can really be sure of italian / taiwanese flair and craftsmanship!

I agree. Pull the decals off so it will be impossible to differentiate from that new Wal-Mart CF bike. I'll bet it would really help the resell value as well.

All it needs is the one nice plain one on the downtube...
It's one of the things that puts me off getting one.
