Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New TT Build

I was in my LBS a couple months ago, and stumbled across this second-hand TT frame in my size going for $400. Very bad news for my bank manager The frame has been sitting around my house whilst I've slowly collected the requisite parts for the build.

The build list goes something like this:

Azzurri Chrono TT frame (52 cm)
American Classic CR-420 wheels
Vision alloy base bars
Profile Design T2+ s-bend aerobars
Cane Creek alloy TT brake levers
Dura Ace shifters
Ritchey Pro alloy seatpost
10sp Ultegra BB/crankset
Ultegra 12-23 cassette
Dura Ace chain
105 everything else

Looks something like this at the moment:

I'm awaiting arrival of the crank later this week. Once that arrives, the front mech can go on, and after a few adjustments, it will be all ready to go.

I'll post up some pics of the finished product as soon as it's done
