Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Them's just the Google ads, they're sneaky.
Oz, I had a mate like that, always worried about everything giving orf noxious gasses... then he goes and buys a water bed which when he heated it up, gave orf heaps more so he wouldn't go near it... farken knut!

^ ....and don't get me started on electric blankets!! Talk about EMFs! Might as well sleep in a microwave (although they don't give off the same crap).

hmmm....what else? Oh yeah, don't have the head of your bed over a powerpoint. Sleep at LEAST arms length away from digital clocks...

Fragrances and perfumes may be carncinogec or otherwise toxic

It sounds like all too much to begin with, but it ain't that hard.

Jeez Ozman, maybe you should put that colander back on your head to block out the harmful rays.

On the subject of microwaves, you need to make sure the inside of the door is always clean otherwise the shielding effect of the mesh in the glass is negated. Heard that one from Dr Karl.

Let's see, I don't own a microwave, don't own an electric blanket, don't use anti-perspirant (why interfere with the operation of a perfectly good sweat gland?), avoid using pesticides and eat very little processed food. On the other hand, I wear perfume every day and slather myself in moisturiser - now I just need to make sure I've achieved a neutral balance.

As for the pesky Google ads ...... AdBlocker is your friend boys.

We did discuss that, but decided against it. By the way, in keeping with the tradition of giving our dogs names and nicknames of notable Australians, (we have a Chopper already) I've given our puppy the dignified title of Ernie Dingo.

It was about 40 degrees here today, and I did a 17.6 km TT.

Averaged 40.6 km/h over the course - I love summer

Das had some issues to resolve, not the least of which was a major superiority complex. Still, he was fun while he lasted

Well, looks like OzMan won't be going anywhere today, Melbourne's temperature is forecast to be 42C (107F). We're a little luckier in NSW, Sydney is forecast to be a relatively temperate 30C (86F)

^ eh, I might roll around and sweat for an hour just so I can feel skinny after, and to avoid the risk of 'dead' legs tomorrow.

I've been out. Was a bit lucky as there was cloud, which burnt off by 9am. Back before 10.30am, just as it was getting hot. Then I mowed the lawns. That sucked.
