What did you do to your bike today?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bike #1:

Did a 34 mile ride starting at 3:30 AM. Cleaned the chain and lubed it before the ride as always do (I know, the medication hasn't kicked in yet!). pumped the tires too before the ride. Will likely degrease the drive train today as I have free time.

Bike#2:

Will get washed, degreased, lubed, and waxed today. Will also get new bar tape before I put it away for a few months.

I shined a flash light on it in the dark to see if there was any iridescent reflection in the paint.

I'll be prepping for my ride tomorrow. I'm too sore from Ultimate Frisbee last night to ride it today.

I just put a new saddle bag on the fixed gear. In about an hour, I'll load it in the truck where she will anxiously wait for me to get off at noon (YAY! Half day at work!!!) so I can ride her down to Encinitas. This will be my longest FG ride so far...60+ miles.

Did the first ride on my first tt bike. Made many, many stops to move this or that up, down, in, out, level, tilted, fore or aft. Small changes but, trying to get comfortable. It took a couple hours to go about 25 miles! Gotta love it. An inexperienced rider on a tt bike with wrenches.

Right now the bike's in the back of the car. Plan to take off from work early and ride this afternoon.
Supposed to be sunny with temp close to 70 today, but mid 40's and rainy the rest of the week.

Gosh, people ride their bikes rather than simply trick them out?

Me? Folder's in the shop w/ a busted frame hinge. Took the roadie on the commute, met w/ friends in Central Park on the way for some laps, got a flat. So I guess what I did "to" my bike was ride it and give it a flat.

Checked tires & cables, and gave a twitchy shifter dirty looks.

I looked at it this morning. I had to get my spare car out of the garage because my primary car blew a brake line. I don't know why the line blew, it only has 251,000 mi on it.

Fizik Aliante saddle, red Euduro BB bearings and cups. Switched the wheelset to my garbage weather set (Kings and Open Pros).

Then we both waited for the snow to melt and for it to get above 32 degrees.

Just put on the Trainer tire and a new skewer. It's a sad day. We're expecting 3" of snow.

Replaced the chain, because I've really been putting some miles on it.
