Best chocolate milk?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I second the recommendations to just mix your own. 100% unsweetened cocoa + sugar according to your tastes. Warming up a small amount of milk beforehand of course makes it mix tons better.

Everything else just tastes like processed feces. Once you taste what chocolate milk is supposed to taste like, it'll make you wonder what random crap companies add to their mixes...

I like the Promised Land milk...seems to cost twice as much as regular milk though.

The best chocolate milk I've had is actually very simple to make.

Take about a tablespoon of cocoa, and a Tbls of sugar, mix with 1.5 Tbls water and heat in a sauce pan until all the sugar has melted. Add a touch of vanilla extract if you like.

Mix this syrup with milk.

Any favorites? Recipes?
Nesquik is ****e. Milo is good, I love it.

Why bother with the milk?

Just plain chocolate, preferably at least 70 percent cocoa.

I love Nestles Quik...

I even drink the fat free, which is best for recovery (no fat calories). Tastes great to me!

Exactly. Having said that, the lite chocolate soy milk with an extra scoop of Ovaltine is getting the chocolate part pretty damn thick.

A can of slimfast from kwik-e-mart in a pinch is good too.
