any ever tried to use Stan's or home brew in a road tube? I run a little splash in my mtn tubes just for extra protection, but I think it would actually benefit more in a road tube. would the high pressure be a problem, anything else someone can think of that might cause a problem?

I have used Stan's all season. No issues with pressure, actually had one flat that I had never noticed until I was almost home. Still had enough pressure in the tire to ride home. I highly recommend Stan's for road tires.

cool! I thought about doing a home test just incase, didn't want it to look like my rear tire "blew a seal" or it's "ice cream melted". this is so awesome, no more steel belt felts.

how much do you think you use? also do you use Continental tubes or is there another brand that have removable valve cores?

Actually, I use tubular tires, hence the reason for wanting to use sealant. A ***** to repair. But I probably use one syringe full, maybe a couple of ounces at most. it will last about three months before it dries up. On clinchers I use Michelin tubes as they are the only ones I can find that have both removable cores and are not threaded on the outside.
