That is a very nice frame. What are you going to build it up with?

take your time building it up, and carefully install the cables. file the ends square and poke them out when you cut them(and use a good cable cutter). don't cut the rear dr cable housing, it'd best if you leave it the length that comes in the campy box set.
some people pre-stretch the cables first too (although i just re set them after a couple hundred miles.)

are frames usually prepped before you order them (chased and faced)? if not, do you just take it to an lbs to do it? do you even need to do this at all?

yup..gonna go slow. broke a bunch of stuff (on me) racing motorcycles. can't even ride a bike if it was all put together.
