Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I ride that trail all the time. Do you stop for coffee at the trailside espresso in South Prairie?

Very nice thread Machka. I have tried to post pics before, but have not been able to find the right set of directions. Can anyone direct me to an easily understood link that does not involve any "programming language". I am good at cutting and pasting, but I can barely remember how to type https:// for a url. Thanks in advance!

Here's what I do.

Sign up for a free photobucket.com account.

Upload your pics to there, and there will be a url associated with each pic.

Copy the url, and then click on the little icon that says "Insert Image" (It looks like a gray mountain with a yellow sky) when you're posting on BF, and paste the URL.

That should work fine, and photobucket will let you resize the pics so you don't have huge pics taking up the whole thread. Good luck. You can PM me if you have any more questions or whatever.

Greetings from Oregon. It's actually snowing but my iPhone resolution can't resolve that kind of detail.

Blood, Sweat and GU2O

After 30+ days of riding in a row. The blood is from a cut caused by a fellow cyclist kicking up a piece of broken toilet that was in the roadway.

1) Make sure the picture is less than 100 kb

2) Click "reply" in a photo thread

3) Type something, then before clicking "Submit Reply" scroll down to where it says, "Manage Attachments"

4) A dialogue box will open allowing you to "Browse" for your picture on your computer. Click "Upload". Find and upload more or close the dialogue box.

5) Click "Submit Reply".

And your photo will be posted!
