Hammer Clothing on sale...

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hammer Clothing on sale...

Not sure if anyone is interested or not but Hammer Nutrition has their clothing on sale. I bought a pair of their bibs last year and they are among the best I have owned. The downside is that all sizes aren't available. I got lucky though, they have large bibs on sell for $36 right now. Some of their shorts are on sale for $25. Jerseys as low as $28. Definitely worht checking out.

Here is a link.

I just spend about $100 there, and I'm really really happy with the stuff I got, as well as their customer service. I'll definitely restock next year when the sale comes around again. The shorts are the most comfortable I've ever owned.

Last year I bought a pair of the bibs and a skinsuit from them. I have been very impressed with both of them. I'll probably place another order next year.

Hammer clothes are made by Voler - good stuff. The jerseys use Voler's "Race" cut which unless you are racer-skinny fit pretty tight. I typically wear a medium in Voler's Club cut but needed to move up one jersey size for the Race cut. Good stuff - I ordered two sets.

I bought a jersey from them on the 6th... hasn't arrived yet and the tracking number shows nothing.... I'm a very patient man though and 6 days is nothing.... Just curious, but how long did it take for your orders?

I got 2-day shipping, and it took 2 days. If you got the cheapest shipping option, I wouldn't worry about it yet. But if you upgraded the shipping, I'd give them a call. The number on the site lets you talk to an actual person pretty quick, and I'm sure they'll take care of you. Good luck.

I used the cheapest shipping option and got my gear in 4 days. Hammer sent me a tracking number so I was able to check on the delivery date prior to arrival.

Less than a week for an order I placed using standard shipping.

Maybe they are experiencing some delays considering the sale right now.

I placed an order on a Thursday night, got a PHONE CALL saying thanks, and my order would arrive on the following Wednesday. I got it all on by Monday. Excellent.

I paid the extra $.30 for 3-day shipping, FYI.

I concur that Hammer seems to be a well run company with excellent customer support. Wore the clothes today on a ride and the shorts are comfy. Good stuff.

The discount doesn't apply, but if you list a referral, then the person that refers you will get credit for it, whatever that means.

I just wore my jersey tonight for the first time tonight on my ride, and I love it. The shorts are also awesome. I'm really happy with the purchase so far.

I also got a BUNCH of stuff listed on my first order... I'm guessing it's promotional stuff (HEED, power gels, bars, etc....) - Hammer is #1, who else gives out FREE stuff??? Can't wait for my jersey to arrive - I wish I had got some shorts too though.... I did call them up and they said the tracking # they gave me was useless since they usually ship FedEx which doesn't get here, so they shipped it via USPS....

I started a thread a few days ago that probably accounts for some of the missing sizes. XL bibs were gone by the time I ordered. I see there are only Larges left now.

Anyway, good stuff.

I believe the referrer gets 25% of the first order? Something really high....

Edit: website confirms. To referrer: "You get 25% of the subtotal of that same first order credited to your account"

+1 - you get 25% of the person's order as credit. Thanks to all fo my BF friends. It's been a nice help at the end fo the year. The person using the referral gets 15%, but supposedly that does not work on the clothing during this sale. FYI.

PS - PM me if you want a referral...

I thought about adding the referral part, I just didn't want it to seem like a shameless plug when I started the thread.
