the white bar tape is starting to grow on me. I'd like to see a few more examples before I decide to make the switch.

performance cork tape is what i use. I like the feel of cork and the price of $4.99

Oh **** that is good. Real good. There is something pure about bikes like that. If I can one day get ok at this riding bikes caper I want to race on one of those for sure. Beyond cool.

Is that the Specialized bar tape? I just bought a white Toupe, and it came with matching bar tape...which would be on the bike right now, if teamcyclist.com hadn't sent me the wrong effing bars! :mad:

Of course - it's just like putting yellow stickers on your car adds 5 horsepower.

I like the Deda tape....goes on easily and cleans up nicely as well.

That's most likely Specialized bar tape since he has the team model saddle. Beware, the gray coloring on the side rubs off even after just one use. :(

Here's mine. The white spot in the gray saddle is due to color rubbing off, not by the camera flash. The bar tape is white with some dark fibers in it.

Rog and Dave:
Indeed that is the "bouns" Specialized tape that came with the seat. The tape is not quite as "pure" anymore but an occassional wipedown with Simple Green wipes helps a little.
As Dave points out some of the lettering on the seat has been wiped away by use (I can't recall how much and I don't have the bike handy right now). I haven't noticed the issue he has with the greay "patch" wearing out. Guess I've been lucky so far.
I do like the saddle.
