New DMT Mag Force Shoes!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Given the corrosive properties of magnesium, I hope the bottoms are coated really well. I think it's a great idea for a shoe but if any of the magnesium gets exposed to the air, it's gonna get ugly.

Damn spiffy shoes tho!

The shoe feels good, a little narrower than my older DMT Ultimax's. I haven't tried the flashes, but I imagine they are very close in weight. The sole is very stiff and sometimes a bit uncomfortable, but they are very nice.

That seems a bad trait for shoes.

check for cracks right behind the cleat often. I have had 2 pair of the mag lights and both cracked also these shoes were total worthless after 50 miles on moderatly rough roads. they transimit road vibration something awful.

idk about that magnesium, as has been said magnesium corrodes, fast. shoe soles are one of things that I think carbon is simply the best choice for. light, stiff and strong, nobody out there (except maybe ryanf) is string enough to crack a properly made carbon sole.

FYI, if your shoes ever caught fire, DO NOT use water to put it out.
