Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Focus Bikes

Was all set for the showdown between lightspeed, look and trek when these bad boys piqued my interest -

Focus Izalco

Anyone here any knowledge? The one on the link is claimed to weigh under 15 lbs for the 56cm! They seem mighty fine value compared to the competition. They do a dura ace build that looks nicer with lightweight wheels for a bit more money...

I've seen a cayo a couple of times around Alsager and rode with the guy for a few miles and they seem amazing value. Full ultegra and what looks to be a nice carbon frame for less than £1000. The lad on it has had it a while now and got it from Wiggle, he was very happy with it. The Izalco looks even better.
