Small(er) chainrings?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Small(er) chainrings?

What is the smallest inner chainring out there that would fit 130mm BCD? Currently, I have 53x39 and would like to switch to something smaller on both inner and outer rings for my cross bike. I recall someone claiming there is a 37 tooth inner ring for 130BCD, any knows the source?

I just checked my Quality catalogue and 38 was the smallest they had listed.

FSA makes a 38 in 130. I plan on using them for my timing gears on the tandem.

Yep.. 38 is it. I looked for something smaller when I had a DA crankset on my bike. That was it.. pulled it out and put a compact in.
