This was my experience. Had it removed y-e-a-r-s ago in my 40's. Never had issues with fatty foods, but then had steered away from them most of my life.

Should add, spent 15 minutes first morning trying to get out of bed without pain. Ha, no way, just grinned and bore it. Improved on each successive morning.
