Profile BRC - Not blingy, but is it decent?
The time has come to finally build up my Litespeed-built Merckx (it is my reward to myself for finding a new job ). With a 1" head tube my fork options are limited though.
My initial thought was Wound Up but then I started to consider Alpha Q. When I visited my local Wound Up dealer to see about a quote today the shop guy pulled out a Profile BRC. This fork really wasn't in the running before but it seemed pretty well put together and the shop specs them a lot on their builds (They do custom frames too). Any thoughts on this fork from users?
My plan for the build is light but not silly-light and all of my riding is recreational. I'm open to all suggestions at this point but I'd like to keep it around $300 or less.
