Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cleaning Chamois

Alright, I have some Assos shorts that I've used for a couple of years, and the chamois is still in great condition, but it has a little stain in it. Yep, a nice brown poop streak that has built of over the last couple of years. Does anyone know a way I can de-poop the chamois without ruining it? This is not a troll post...sadly it's 100% legit, haha. I can provide pictures for the curious. Thanks!

Unless you're wearing your shorts inside-out, I can't see how this would be too much of a problem.

Dude, I'm sorry but it's got to be said:
Get a new pair. Then remember to wipe next time.

Ew.

Seriously... I've never heard of a person who can afford to be a road cyclist not wash their clothes. What the hell!?

I take it no one has gas on a ride? Anyhow..... perhaps a tiny dab of bleach to the spot. However, then you may have a bleached out spot. Better than brown.

I don't believe you guys. It's obvious that it doesn't take much to entertain a weak mind.

This is too funny... well, the only thing i can say is to use Baby LIquid detergent to wash that thing. That detergent will kill your pooppy bacterias right away and will smell nice...

And yes the posting is useless w/o pictures

Get some new ones. You should get a good price for your current pair on ebay.
