what brake pads work with tektro?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yes. They really improve the feel of Tektro brakes in my experience.

Forget the shimano pads, if you're going to upgrade off the ****ty stock pads (which are "shimano" refill compatible), get koolstops. Preferably the salmon ones.

Koolstop pads > Shimano pads

Of course, seeing as how this is a road forum, that you're talking about some variation of the tektro dual pivots.

I just put some KoolStop salmon pads on my Cane Creek brakes and I believe that is now the best upgrade I have done. Wow, what a difference. There is a guy on Ebay that sells them for $16 including S&H for two pairs.

Koolstop pads > Shimano pads
+1, agreed. Try the Salmon colored pads.

Ok I've had the half and half kool stop pads for a while now. What is the advantage of the salmon ones over the black.

+1 on kool stop, they rock
