:( I kept meaning to go to Harris Cyclery all summer on a day he would be in so I could meet him in person, but I never got the chance.
He will be remembered! |
Wow, im stunned!
I was on his site this morning gleaming info. He will indeed be very missed; he gave so much of his time to the cycling community. We owe him a debt of gratitude. RIP Sheldon. |
Very sad.

Rest in peace, Mr. Brown.
I've learned a lot from your website. You have made your name across the cycling community and provided a tremendous resource for cyclists of all stripes. |
Vaya con Dios Sheldon. The world is a poorer place for your loss.

May the miles roll effortlessly for you now Mr Brown. God speed and constant tailwinds. Condolences to his family for their great loss, and thank-you for sharing him with us while he was here. I daresay he will live on forever in the hearts' and minds' of cyclists the world over.

That truely is sad...I owe nearly all of my knowledge for fixing bikes from his site and postings. RIP

This is shocking news and I am stunned. Just like most of you, his website helped me many times. RIP, Sheldon.

Sheldon,
You were one of my biggest hero's. Thank you for all you did in your life to help cycling advocacy. You will be missed. My deepest and most heart felt condolences go out to Sheldon's family, friends, and the rest of the mourning cycling world. Prayerfully yours, Frank Engel |

That's too bad. I've learned a lot reading his bike articles. All bikers owe him a debt of gratitude.
Never met the guy, but his memory is going to live on if only for all the help he was to just about anyone in cycling who needed it. I just hope somebody keeps the web pages going. They're too valuable a resource to disappear. God bless you Sheldon - may you find nothing but well paved roads, strong tailwinds, and beautiful sunny days to ride in from now on. |
Sheldon surely left a mark on the cycling community. He will be missed. My condolences...laissez les bon temp rouler, Sheldon!

Blue skies, Sheldon. |
Condolences to the Brown family, and RIP to Sheldon. I will miss his humor and ability to make others laugh at themselves.
|
I built my first wheel with his instructions printed out and beside me.
My condolences to his family. His humor and wisdom will be sorely missed, but I suspect he's pedaling away like the old days...once again... DPN |
Tailwinds Sheldon. RIP
