I was on his site this morning gleaming info. He will indeed be very missed; he gave so much of his time to the cycling community. We owe him a debt of gratitude.

That truely is sad...I owe nearly all of my knowledge for fixing bikes from his site and postings. RIP

god that sucks. sheldon brown will always be a legend...
we are all on death row, the only question is he method of execution and the length of reprieve. look behind you, the dark prince is closing in. look again, it's even closer. it seems the closer he gets the faster he comes.
sheldon may you rest in peace brother.

Ditto. When I got back into the sport, I spent a couple of weeks going through his entire web page, catching up on almost 30 years of missed technology.

Never met the guy, but his memory is going to live on if only for all the help he was to just about anyone in cycling who needed it.

I just hope somebody keeps the web pages going. They're too valuable a resource to disappear.

God bless you Sheldon - may you find nothing but well paved roads, strong tailwinds, and beautiful sunny days to ride in from now on.
